Adding Radio License Equipments

Radio equipment intended for use must be type approved by TRA
An application fee of OR 50/ is required for every new application for each frequency allocation for each location. This payment needs to be paid in advance before submitting the application to the TRA and it is non-refundable.
Acovering letter is required when submitting an application for using any radio equipment highlighting the intention of that request, attached with the TRA application form “Application for Radio Equipment License”
TRA will grant applicants with provisional approval prior to the arrival of the said equipments (into the Sultanate) only after receipt of the full registration / utilization fees. This provisional approval is temporary until the radio license is issued.
In case of importation of the said radio equipment TRA shall grant applicants with release order for any approved radio equipments at the custom, only after receipt of the full fees.
The License for Radio Equipments is granted only by the TRA and it must be renewed annually.
