The forms designed for each service are to be filled for the amendment of the Radio license together with of a formal letter explaining the required amendment. The amendment requests include the following:-

1.Frequency and Location :-

• Payment of application non-refundable fees of RO. 50/- for each frequency and location.
• The requested usage will be verified against the usages of Oman national frequency spectrum plan.
• TRA will ensure that the requested frequencies do not interfere with the licensed usages and will commence local and international co-ordination.
• On successful completion of the aforesaid steps, an advice for payment for the frequency registration, utilization and the amendment fees of (RO. 15/-) for each license shall be sent for payment purposes. A copy of the fees deposit receipt certified by the bank shall be sent to TRA.
• A Radio License amended with the new frequency or the new location will be issued and it will be valid to operate and use the equipment.

2.Class of Emission and radiated Power :-

• If the licensee request and increase in the class of emission or radiated power, an advice for payment for utilization fees and amendment fees of RO. 15/- for each license will be sent for payment purposes. A copy of the fees deposit receipt, certified by the bank shall be sent to TRA.
• If the Licensee requests a decrease in the class of emission or radiated power, an advice for the amendment fees only will be sent for each license.

3.Replacement of the Radio equipment :-

• If the licensee requests replacement of Radio equipment, an advice of cancellation fees for the equipment replaced of RO. 25/- for each equipment and an amendment fees of RO. 15/- for each license will be sent for payment purposes. A copy of the fees deposit receipt, certified by the bank shall be sent to TRA.
• TRA will issue a Provisional Approval for the equipment intended for use in order to facilitate importation of the equipment. Request for release of equipment upon arrival to Oman may be obtained after filling the form required for this purpose.
• After release of the equipment, TRA must be provided with the serial number of the equipment replaced so as to amend the license.

4.Administrative Details :-

• If a request is made to amend the administrative details such as name and address of owner..ect, an advice for amendment fees of RO. 15/- for each license will be sent. A copy of the fees payment deposit, certified by the bank shall be sent to TRA.
• A license with the requested amendment will be issued.

The licensee shall return the original old license in the cases 2^nd through 5^th as new license will be issued in all these cases with the exception of the cancellation case.
