PROCEDURES OF RADIO EQUIPMENT LICENSE RENEWAL

  1. The licensee shall submit the application for renewal of radio equipment license to TRA 30 days prior to the expiry date of the license. Any request for modification of existing license except decreasing of effective radiated power of the stations shall be treated as a new application for radio equipment license that will replace existing one in case of favourable finding of corresponding procedures for the new application. Normally, spectrum users may ask TRA to modify the existing license through payment of amendment fees if modification concerns changes in administrative data and such modification will not require to carry out electro magnetic compatibility (EMC) analysis. For example: car registration number, equipment serial numbers (for the same type of equipment), changes in owner names or address etc.
  2. The licence will not be renewed unless all conditions, standard and procedures laid by TRA have been fully adhered to.
  3. The license validity period is one full calendar year (12 months) and may be extended for a maximum period of 5 years based on the licensee’s request provided that the spectrum utilization fee for the requested period is paid in advance.
  4. The penalties will be charged for any delay in the payment of the fees as it’s shown in the table
