Procedures to be followed to retain radio equipment

The Licensee shall send a formal letter requesting to retain the idle radio equipment.
Retention fees of RO. 25/- shall be paid by the licensee for each Radio Equipment within one month. A copy of the fees payment receipt, certified by the bank shall be sent to TRA.
A proof of cancellation of frequency programming of the radio equipment from any company dealing with telecom equipment and registered with TRA shall be submitted.
A license for the retained radio equipment will be issued. The maximum period for retaining the radio equipment is 3 years and licensee shall undertake to pay the retention fees every year.
