In granting radio frequencies, the department verifies the applicants planned location of radio equipment before installation and controls the authorized equipment for proper application in conformity with the licensing conditions. It carries out pre-license and post – license conformity inspections with the aim to control the frequency usage consequently to detect any illegal (unlicensed) usage of the spectrum.

Procedures to deal with interference problem

1. Licensed users are requested to submit an interference complain along with the harmful interference report form (available in the TRA site).
2. TRA studies the submitted complain and related assignments.
3. TRA performs necessary measurements if needed.
4. TRA acknowledges complainer about the results of monitoring.
