Type Approval Procedures & Requirements


Registered local telecommunications dealers who request type approvals for the telecommunications equipment need to compile the following basic requirements in order for their requests to be processed:
  1. Duly filled out Type Approval Request Application Form;
  2. Full technical data and specifications documents;
  3. Test results reports (RF, EMC, Safety) from a test lab approved by TRA;
  4. Documents of user’s guide and sales brochure with colored pictures for the equipment;
  5. Copy of Manufacturer Declaration of Conformity.
Radio communications equipment are subject to additional usage requirements specified in other regulations or Radio Licences.
