Based on its last market review, the TRA has been preparing new or amending existing regulatory instruments to address competition issues. TRA has now developed Retail Tariff Regulation, which is one of the remedies to address dominance (Significant Market Power) issues. This regulation is aimed to be a single reference for all matters relating to filing and approval of retail tariffs. It sets out in detail the processes that the Authority intends to adopt in future for the registration and filing of retail tariffs from dominant and non-dominant licensees.
