The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority ( TRA) launches an awareness campaign on postal services sector under the theme "know_your Rights " .  The campaign is set to educate beneficiaries about the types of postal services available in the Sultanate and the companies licensed by the TRA to provide them. The campaign addresses several major areas, the most important of which is handling charges and how they are different from customs tax, as well as the mechanisms of tracking beneficiaries’ postal articles. The campaign also explains how postal beneficiaries can obtain their rights if they file a complaint against the service provider, and  how to deal safely with the postal services during the pandemic period .

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority was mandated to regulate Omans Postal Service Sector in accordance with the Postal Service Regulatory Law, which was issued by the Royal Decree 71/2012 . The TRA forms the general postal policy and oversees the postal services providers to ensure the provision of licensed services of appropriate quality at approved tariff.
