Public Consultation on the Draft Regulation Document of Provision of Telecommunication Services for Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly People.
A regulation that contains the terms and requirements for providing telecommunications services for people with disabilities and the elderly people.
- Ensuring that, persons with disabilities and the elderly have access to communication services and the internet.
- Finding solutions to remove all kinds of obstacles that hinder access to telecommunications services.
- Improving the quality of communication services provided to this category in addition to the quality of content on the internet.
- Implementation of the United Nations Convention on Persons with Disabilities and the recommendations of the International Telecommunication Union.
Stakeholders and the concerned parties to provide their opinions and comments on the draft regulation document before 2nd of May 2021
